Originally from Oakland, California. Went to Merritt Jr. College and later to CALPOLY in SLO after getting out of the Air Force. Been an Okie since 1975, but don't hold that against me! Going back to SF/Oakland area for 40th H.S. reunion in 1975. I can't wait because I want to take my wife on a biking tour of the wine counry (alexander and dry creek valleys)
Aerospace Engineer with Federal Government at a major AF base.

Hobbies: Biking (of course), Aikido (10 years), and self taught Scottish Gaelic learner.
Current bikes: Barcroft Virginia GT recumbent (thinking about changing the RANS seat to a Swanson hard shell fiberglass or carbon seat), A Softride Roadwing upright, and a 1987 30th anniversary Dave Moulton DF Columbus steel Fuso which I built from the ground up after buying the frame and parts (mostly modern Campy Record, and Chorus).

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
