anyone else do this? i had a horrible showing myself - i got overheated\nauseous and had to abandon the race after the 2nd lap. a little disappointing since this is the last of the series for this year. :(

Well I did and you know how that turned out. Anyone been to the park recently and see if they fixed that huge pothole on the hill? I think I made a big enough stink about it, well we'll just see.

looked like you were doing okay too, so that's a shame to end up with two flats. was that on the last lap?

Flatted on the hill on lap 4. Figured out I'd flatted about halfway through 4 and dnf'd at the begninning of the last lap. And yeah, I was feeling good and placed well at the front of the chase group when it happened. Well there's always next time. In this case Sept 11th. We'll see if I'm up to it. It's a bit longer 27 miles as oppoesed to 17, but I think I'll be ok, as long as the parks and rec dept. fixes that damn crater.
