I was down in SouthCenter over the weekend and realized that the GRT still had sandbags all over it. Any word on when/if they're going to take those away and give us back the trail?

Last rumor I heard was that they were going to be left until Howard Hansen Dam is fixed. No idea on what that might be.

Yep, what I heard was until the dam is fixed - which will be a minimum of five years. Until then, the whole Green River Valley is under a constant flood warning. Nice, eh? The Army Corps of Engineers rocks! My thought was that someone should just dynamite the dam, and get it over, rather than putting everyone in a state of anxiety for five years.
