Hello everyone. I am so new to biking that i dont even have a bike yet:) I am interested in getting a road bike but have no clue where to begin. I run a little (very little) and am interested in possibly doing a run/bike race of some sort. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Visit your local bike shop.
Ask about bike size, warranty's, and local Tri races.

Post some pics of your bike when you get one.

Hey thanks for the replies guys. Just a quick quesstion. I have been looking on bikesdirect (so overwhelming) and I was wondering if a bike shop would have a problem with me buying a bike from the web then bringing it to them to have it set up. Are they usally receptive to that? I know they are all different but the general concessious??? Any bikers from Rhode Island out there?
