Your lbs would probably have it or go to Dan's Comp.

I have gone to my lbs and many in NYC,dan's comp and gt bikes. Gt bikes makes them but will not sell it to me. I must go though a dealer and the dealer does not have them. No one has this.

I do not know the correct name. it is a dual brake hanger into straddle.

thanks

I doubt GT makes it. Most likely it is made by the same company that made that rear U brake. Most of the GT Zones (assuming this is still the GT Zone you bought your child) show to use Tektro brakes. You may give Tektro customer support an email or call.

Just run the cables straight to the arms. It's a lot more efficient and easier to adjust when you're got a gyro setup.

those are rushes, not Tektros, and he cant run straight because theres nothing to grab the left cable.

Rush SB933 maybe? cant find a Rush site, Mongoose might have those parts...

If you go to the Park Tool Website and look at the section on BMX brake adjustment you find the same picture and this text:

The system in the Figure 8 also uses dual cables. This is called a DC Amplifier™ by the Ogry™ Company (registered trademarks of the Scura Speed & Technology). The brake caliper arms are connected by a straddle wire, and the straddle wire is pulled by a brace connecting to the cables. In this design, the straddle wire should generally be kept as short as possible, with just enough length to allow it to disengage. Each dual brake cable secures to its own pinch bolt.

So the product you are looking for is a DC Amplifier by The Ogry Company. Good luck in your search for one.

Have you ever google for the word orgy?
