I need to replace a Sram attack shifter. All searches for this product refer to the shifter as either a "shorty" or as having a small "AMY" grip. This is what I presently have, but due to hand size and arthritis I believe I might be better of with a larger grip. Is there a larger grip available on the SRAM Atack shifter? What is it called so I could do a search? Or maybe someone knows of a source?

You can run any size grip you want; you will just have to buy grips of your choice in addition to the the shifter package. I used to run full-size grips with my GS shifters because it kept the shifters away from my clumsy ghost-shifting hands. The only potential troubles could be if you don't like how far inboard it puts your brake levers and/or if you don't have a long enough non-tapered section of handlebar to put all that.
