Road Cycling - right after chemo...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well long story short, i just went through chemo for a 24 week peroid to hopefully supress the Hep C i have, well it has been about 3 weeks so far, geting my life and my bike back to gether *still waiting for my look 261 frame to come in, should be in next week* I had been having problems with migrains while going through the treatment and was told that it would go after i got done with all of the shots. 3 weeks later, they are geting ever worse, go see my doc on base again for the 4 time in 2 weeks on about 3 hours sleep in a week, he is checking my reactions in my knees, they dont have one, he try's it 5 or six times on bolth onces and they dont even budge, so he goes on to try other things, and nothing is working. Well to keep it as short as posible, i have to go in for a CT scan on my right frontal lobe of my brain on Wens, because i might have a tumor. Great, really what else can happen to keep me off my bike...
Not real sure what to say.
Be strong and good luck with everything.

Hey guy,
I don't know you, I'm new to this board and have only read a few of your posts, BUT: You're in my prayers bro.
Dave
Know that @ the very least, there are a whole lot of us thinking about you. That can't hurt, can it? Be positive, and ALWAYS keep the bike in mind. You will be back! :)

I'm sure you'll be in all our thoughts. I hope all goes well with the CT, but please keep us appraised and let us know how you're doing.
Take care,

Hey Lance Armstrong did it, so can you!
Be Positive and just think how much fun you'll have once you get on that bike again.

IHNL, Right now, this very moment; I pray for your swift and complete recovery from your illness and treatment, peace for your heart, and a speedy return to your bike. God bless. Remember, that the truth WILL set you free.
Praying for ya. Hang in there and be tough.
I know how it is man. I watched my GF go thru chemo and radiation therapy for Hodgkins Lymphoma 2 years ago. Stay positive! Keep that bike in your thoughts, concentrate on your health. Shortly after completing chemo/rad my GF ran a marathon in Vancouver with Team in Training (http://www.teamintraining.org)...hang in there bro'. Keep us posted, stay positive, live strong man!
I'll send some positive thoughts your way!
