Picked this up today for $120. Did I do good? Any ideas as to what year it might be and what I need to replace to make it original?

Start with the rear derailleur, clearly not original. I don't think front fork is original either, but one of the experts will know. Seat is obviously not original, nor period correct. Bike would look better with something from that era. I would make sure that stem is inserted at least to the minimum insert line. It looks way too high right now. Grease the stem and seat post really good, raise the seat to the level that fits you.

Date the bike by the component codes on anything original, crankset looks original to me. Ditto front derailleur. I am guessing very early 1980s.
