Just wondering how much some of you have spent on bringing your bikes up to their current state. Ie bike price, mods etc...

Some of the bikes posted on here look like they would have cost a small fortune if built from scratch.

Too damn much or not nearly enough , depending on who's asking.

On my main bike, i'm at about 30 cents a mile... it goes down every day.. At a job I had recently I was spending $600 a month on gas and gettin nothing for it but bloodshot eyes. So the bike ain't a bad investment.

I probably don't want to know, but here it goes...

Hopper, when did you buy the bighit and was it second hand? Im aussie as well and i thought that they cost alot more than that

Mine's pretty similar to Xtreme Biker's, who 4 some reason was Banned last night.... Go figure.

Got it ages ago, second hand in basically brand new condition.

Had seen the guy with it riding a couple of times and he didn't ride hard so I new it would be good.

My most recent build (just about one week ago) cost me £1740 and that was with money off/sales etc.

After nothing except the seat post fit I’ve accumulated $1000 worth of new components.
Only the seat post remains from my old bike.
Talk about a “minor” upgrade.
