Hey all,
A quick question for you seasoned cyclists. Everytime a diesel powered vehicle passes me and I get a few good lung fulls of it's exhaust, I go into wheeze mode and lose about half of my lung capacity. Does this happen to everyone, or have I developed an allergy?

I actually like the smell of diesel fumes but I might just be wierd...

Breathing Diesel is like smoking a cigg on my bike, the particles in Diesel exhaust are relatively large, and they cause cancer more than good old gas exhaust, a main reason its not a mainstream alternative to gas. Having said that there is no alternative to a turbo diesel for fuel economy and insane amounts of power, go test drive a Dodge P/U with a Cummings engine to verify.
