I am asking for your help on this, I have been searching for a good starter bike, I don't want to go cheap if it means I will be unhappy with it, but if by all means I am getting a good deal and really feel like upgrading components later, than should I get this bike ?
Let me know anything else you reccomend or any other comments please. I am new to the sport and I am aware that I am ignorant to certain aspects of buying a bike, so please help.
Thanks...Abel

$325 free shipping (http://www.bikesdirect.com/products...cane/mirage.htm)
Suggest looking at entry level new bike. See above link.
I would not buy that bike.
I don't want to go cheap...
The price listed is cheap. An entry level bike at that price is cheap.
Since you don't want to go cheap stop by your LBS (or shop at a few) and look at and test ride the bikes they have that appeal to you.

Rule #1 about buying a used bike: don't buy one where the guy told you he dropped it hard enought to put those 2 dents in it.
Hey at least the seller is honest about the condition of the bike. Now don't buy it. :D
One thing nice about answering this thread today is that unless you were the winning bidder, you can't buy it any longer. It's gone. Be happy about that. you aavoided a bad deal.
