Hello there,
I'm a MTB newbie and would like get some opinions on what bike to get. my problem (?) is that I am a foreigner living in china, and the only decent mountainbikes widely available here are Giant MTBs.
I want an entry level bike thats good value for money (not more expensive than USD 500), versatile (good for riding in the city as well as in semi-rough terrain) and looks cool (please dont flame me).
I have checked out a few Giant stores here, and the most common mountainbikes seem to be the ATX series: ATX 680, 760, 780 etc. costing from USD 200 and up. Are these bikes decent quality entry level mountainbikes?
I also found a bike in the Giant store today called "GTS Pro M5", it looked fine and went for around USD 400. the problem is that I have been unable to find any info about this model online. Can anyone tell me more about this bik
*edit*
found this pic of the GTS Pro M5 (with Rock Shox front suspension)
