I just moved into the area near Shirlington and am interested in any recommendations folks might have for a good bike shop nearby.
Not looking for a new bike or anything, just a good wrench. My '83 Trek commuter is in need of a tune-up.
Thanks!

For repairs, I recommend Oasis Bike Works in Fairfax City. Little bit of a drive for you, but their mechanics are very good.
They were running a half price labor special all winter. It may be over now, but you could ask.
Bicycle Pro Shop off Duke Street is a good shop. They cater more to a road crowd than anything else but they know how to work on all bikes. One of the mechanics (Milton) does every kind of riding from cross country to road to downhill so he's well versed.

Closest is Spokes Etc. on Quaker St near King (though that's Alexandria and not Arlington). It's like one mile up the road from downtown Shirlington. I've only ever picked up the odd accessory or part from them, so can't speak directly to the quality of their mechanics' work, but they do carry a wide selection of all kinds of bikes.
