Imagine scaling that down to medium size. It looks all wrong.

It's not absurdly huge if it fits. Ever heard of Leonard Zinn?

Thread hijack (kinda): I was just riding with a guy two days ago who is 6'8" and 275 lbs. He's riding a 68cm bike (might have been 69cm or 70cm). Can someone that big get a bike "off the shelf" or do they have to be custom made? He's looking at getting a new bike and thinks his only options are a custom frame.

Options are few.

- An old bike: back in the 1970s, Cannondale sold 27" touring frames (68,6 cm) as standard.

- Rivendell and, I think, Waterford or Heron, are available in 68-cm.
