hello all!

for the last two years i have been riding a 58cm cannondale capo that i found for a great deal on craigslist. i really like how it rides, its extremely responsive, stiff, and light but its just too small. i built up a bareknuckle for my ex girlfriend a while back and really liked the simple, beautiful looks. im looking to try out a new velodrome that was just built less than an hour from my house, but want something that will still do alright shredding around town and think a bareknuckle would fit the bill.

im 6'4'' with a 36 inch inseam. do you all think i would be better off with a 60 or a 62?

Fitting a bike via text online is like fitting a suit...via text online. It's just better done in person.

This is an expensive purchase, why not spend a few bucks at a bike shop to make sure you get the right size?

But, as an alternative there are a few bike fit computers online by Competitive Cyclist and Tiemeyer Cycles that will give you a ballpark idea. I'm sure you can find them online.

good analogy. there is a very nice bike shop here in fort collins called The Cycologist that does fittings that i contacted, its just hard for a broke college student that makes eight bucks an hour to pay $90 an hour for a fitting... does that seem a tad steep or is that the going rate? i do see the point though, im sure that it would pay off in the long run. i guess to get an idea ill try one of the two you mentioned. thanks for the input carleton.
