as I thought - the screen to input the poll question and responses never came up.

Use a different browser to post the poll, or hold Ctrl when you click Submit and keep holding till the page finishes loading.

Safari on IBM compatible works like a champ. Been using it for years and no probs. Just updated to 4.0.5.
