after 2 weeks of riding to and from work, i finally made it up this hill that had been kicking my ass all the time (read: i had to stop part of the way up). It felt great :) I was going ultra slow and couldn't keep my cadence up even on the smallest chainring on the lowest gear but man when i got up there, i was so happy :) I hope i get faster on this hill :p for those of you in SD, it's on Genessee going south from University City High School to Governor drive. :)

outstanding! In a month, you'll probably be spinning up that evil beast.

OOO, I have one of those too. I have never stopped on her...but it takes me 17 minutes of climbing at about 4-6 mph...if I'm lucky. She is an "evil beast" to say the least...but boy do I look forward to cresting...and coasting!!!
Congratulations. Now you need to set a new goal.

That is funny Mello. I was riding during lunch the other day ( I work at Miramar) and did not feel that great so I decided to stick to a flatter route than the one I had planned. I decided to go Miramar Road to Genessee then back down Clairemont Mesa. I completely forgot about those two hills on Genessee until it was too late! I feel your pain!
