Hi all, What brand tires do you recommend for a hybrid bike. I mostly want a tire that is good for road, but that has traction when I go on some mountain trails.

It will go on my Trek 7300fx.

Well a Trek 7300fx was really never meant for any true mountain trails. Unsure of what you refer to as mountain trails I will send you to a tire in the "cyclocross" categorie. Perhaps something in the 40c range for a bit more width. The WTB Mutanoraptor is a really good all around tyre and comes in a variety of sizes... 29, 26, 700c... fast on the pavement and good in sandy/loose conditions.

yes, thanks. What I meant is that I have a regional park nearby my house. A lot of people ride their mountain bikes, because there really isn't any paved bike paths in the park, mostly dried grass, or packed gravel and some sand.

It is surprising how much ruff-stuff you can ride on slick road tyres. You only need knobbles in wet mud.
