personally i dont reall care if a bike weights less than 15kg as I weight near 90kg, its muscle i promise :). However i do like engineering and good design, also some love lightweight bikes here is an intresting one.
but give me steal anyday!
and gears,
and alittle suspension,
and mudgaurds,
and a frame that if i crash doesnt crack or break ,
and a beautiful ladies saying "wow look at that guy on a brompton"

I want to see what it looks like folded, but if it folds like I think it does then I think we have a winner.
Way too expensive though. Needs to be able to compete with the Strida and the Carryme.

I wonder what the max rider weight is?

Did you happen to notice where the cranks were with respect to the two wheels? Dead in between. One wonders what impact on the geometry that decision will have. I'm guessing this is gonna be one seriously short reach, squirrelly bike.
"...developed the new carbon fiber-based bicycle that weighs in at 7 kilograms, some 3 to 6 kilograms lighter than aluminum-based conventional folding bicycles."
Doesn' t sound reasonable to me, sorry.

nice try
if the bike like pictured weighs 7 kg
I eat a hat
there seem to be mechanical disc brakes with rather large rotors ... a humoungous saddle, the fork is heavier than a " regular" one
the weight of the frame is really only partially responsible for a lightweight bike
In any case. nice try
Thor
Thor is probably right, but I'm willing to test ride nonetheless.
