I might do that 5/1. I am thinking of riding ToC up to 2/39 area and then returning home via Hwy 39 but want to know if 39 is rideable. Did you do this 4/3? What were conditions?

Thinking of doing this on Sunday 5/2. Haven't gone up 39 before, anything special to note?

There's no water up there, (unless you're brave enough to drink from a stream that's near the road at one point,) so plan accordingly.

No water, and you could need more than 2 bottles. Some riders refill from springs before Crystal Lake w/o reported problems. Vertical Bob would know more about that.

Thanks. Gives me the option of doing East Fork - GMR loop vice toiling up to 2 alone.
