Howzit Guys,

I bought a front disc break, it arrived today, but it seems there is a problem with them. I have fitted all and stuff, but there is little to no power in it, and my rear or old front V-breaks were ALOT stronger then the disc. The leaver has no..urm.. resitance? to it if you know what i mean, like pulling v breaks.
Can anyone help me with that please?

Thanks,
P.s it's a Shimano Deore XT M-756 Hydraulic Disc.
Rob.

Never mind, found that there was a loose bolt so it leaked, will buy more fluid and fill it up.

Do not forget to properly bleed the brakes other wise you will have air in the system and your brakes still wont work right.

If you have Hayes, you can download their installation and maintenance procedures, including bleeding. I'm pretty sure other manufacturer's will have similar info online.
