Cyclocross - Help: Looking for good platform/toe clip pedal and also some knobby cyclocross tires

I have a cyclocross that I used to ride as a roadie. I'm now converting it back into a city/cross type bike, and I need some advice.

1) Looking for some decent platform pedals and maybe with some toeclips. I'm replacing my SPC pedals, because this bike will only be ridden in the city in the future and I need to wear sneakers. Nothing fancy. Classic looks a plus!

2) I'm looking for some cyclocross knobby tires. Right now I've got 700x23s and I was wondering if my Poprad could handle something larger like a 28 or 32 with knobs? I want this bike to be tough since it's going to be in Manhattan.

oh and if anybody knows a good way to remove the stickers from your frame please let me know!

WTB makes a really decent platform pedal, the momentum. It's fairly light and has a grease opening so the bearings are easy to maintain. All City also makes a double toe clip and double leather strap that make for a really secure really classy pedal setup. I have an assortment of pedals with clips and this setup is my favorite.

I like the MKS GR-9:

They're really comfortable with regular sneakers.

Any MKS pedals are going to be well made and really good looking, highly recommended.

I assume you're riding in the city, if not then the MKS sylvan touring would be good. If you are riding in the city you don't want knobbies. Knobbies on pavement = less traction and not any tougher than a good 32 or 25 touring tire.
