I am too lazy to search. I am going to be in Socal Wed through Sat and will be over by Universal. Can anyone suggest a good hilly route close by? I may bring my bike.

Well you could start by going down Barham to GP then make a I'm getting to lazy to finish!ZZZZZZZ!

Barham to Cahuenga to Mullholland to Sepulveda to Wishire to St. Vincente to the Pacific Ocean. Turn around before you get wet. Or jusr rappel down to Hollywood Resevoir and ride back up a few times.

Not as hilly, but could be kind of a cool ride....do the LA Marathon course. Has some overlap to curiouskid55's post, but not the hills ( I know, you want hills). Just throwing ideas. Dodger Stadium to Santa Monica.

head over to little tujunga at foothill and osborne. from north hollywood it's a ten mile warmup to the start of the climb.
there is lots of good climbing just south of universal up near mulholland but you will need a map if you are not a local
