Bicycle Mechanics - Bicycle Work Stand Sale

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
REI is having a Labor Day Sale from August 27 - September 6. One of the sale items is a work stand named, "Ultimate Consumer Repair Stand." Price is $119.00 regularly $150.00
Description is as follows:
Sturdy, tripod-based stand with height adjustment (40" to 67") for easy wrenching and 360 degree clutch rotation.
Anyone know of this stand?
Any opinions?
I have the Ultimate Professional Repair Stand from REI and am very pleased with it, for whatever help that does for you.
I also have the Pro stand that I purchased from REI. LOVE IT. I don't know if there is much different besides how the clamp closes and the color.
The pro clamp lets you push the clamp to the bike and then turn a knob to tighten it so it is faster to get a bike on and off the stand. Not a big thing but it adds up if your at a club ride and your trying to get 12+ bikes checked out
The pro came with a bag and it is great for travel the tripod legs work so much better than the bar style legs the Park travel stands have/had.
I think I had a 10% off coupon so went for the Pro at $119.00 the consumer stand is an outstanding value.
Cheers
