Northern California - NorCal East, Sunday 4/11

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm slowly healing and ready to put it to a mild test. Time for another ride up Chili Hill!
Here's the route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/51327
Ok, 72 mi, 3600 feet. Or, if you'd like a shorter option, be ready to ride at Folsom Bike at 10:15 am. It's located on Auburn-Folsom where the new Folsom Bridge Crossing road hits it, just below Beals.
The longer ride leaves Hagan Park in Rancho at 9am. I'm going to keep my pace tolerably mellow, flats 15-16mph. Hills obviously slower. Helmets required. Bring water, snacks, and a few $$ in case we stop for lunch or need to buy water refills.
Incidentally, it's not so easy to type this with a cat on my lap.
Anyone interested?

Joel, count me in for Sunday. I posted on the other forum as well. Not sure where I'll be starting from but most likely FB to keep the ride shorter due to a sprained wrist.
Sounds good Craig. See you on Sunday! And remember, I'm keeping my pace down. Not in the shape I was before surgery.

Joel, you feeling frisky? If I can swing it, I'll meet you at FB also. I'm supposed to keep the weekend ride "long" down to 40 miles... we'll see. I'll let you know at the end of the week.
Just a bit Jason. I want to get back to where I was before surgery. Got to test it out periodically. Should be ok for this one, if I take it easy on the climbs.

I'm not gonna ride in the rain. If it's clear when I leave the house I'll chance it but if it's already raining I'm gonna bail. I'm crossing my fingers!
weather.com is just showing showers. I think it won't be so bad.

I'm out. The WIND woke me up this morning howling at my window and it looks so nasty out there. Today is a trainer day for me, sorry Joel.
