Classic and Vintage Bicycles: What's it Worth? Appraisals and Inquiries - Not really vintage, 1999 Novara Randonee

Hey all,
My dad has been interested in starting to cycle for transport and exercise and I've found a blue 1999 Novara Randonee, full Tiagra (8-speed triple, brifters) for $350. It is in good riding condition. Is this a reasonable price for this bike, or should I try to negotiate for a lower price?
Thanks
That's about full market value around here. If it is Craigs List, then negotiating is just a normal part of it.

I almost always sell for my asking price. And if there is a line of people looking at a bike and the buyer is interested
in bargaining I tell them the next person in line will be interested in paying full price. I don't think I've ever had someone
walk away. But then my prices are low to start with. $350 for a Novara Randonee sounds full price, sort of a different animal.
You can get the 2010 model (http://www.rei.com/product/796696) for $800 with the 20% member coupon they have going now, and that is for a Reynolds 520 frame, mix of Tiagra and 105 RD.
Was the name Tiagra even around in 1999? I couldn't find the date that group was first introduced... this suggests it had a RSX group (http://gallery.roadbikereview.com/showphoto.php?photo=1668&si=385766:&what=allfields&mcats=all).
I'd probably push for closer to 1/3rd the new price than 1/2 (and do it before the sale ends on the 18th :p).
