Alt Bike Culture - retro project...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

If you search for "pennyfakething" in this forum, you'll see another option entirely for a pennyfarthing-esque bike.

That design looks questionable to me. With the crankset ahead of the front wheel, and the shown saddle position, the center of gravity looks even more forward than on a true pennyfarthing. The originals were notorious for faceplanting riders and that looks like it might be even worse.
The geometry of the finished one I've seen pics of is a little different from the sketch.
The important thing is that the handlebars are under your legs rather than over, so when you do inevitably get pitched off the front you'll tend to land feet first rather than faceplant.
