I bicycle in both cities and could not believe anyone could compare the two. Portland may have more commuters but the dedicated bicycle trails in Minneapolis surpass anything I've seen in other cites. Los Angles and Phoenix are two other cities that have extensive dedicated bicycle trails. This is much more bike friendly than painting some lines on the road and calling them "bike lanes".
