Nice to be here--Ive learned a great deal from this forum. Just getting back into biking after 30+ years and love it. My primary ride is a Giant OCR Touring that I got to do some road /touring on. My dirt machine is an older ('99) Schwinn Moab 3 thats going to be used in the Georgia/NC mountains. After 4 mos. of steady road work, I can actually walk normally the next day. Lost 20 lbs too. I think I like it! :D

Welcome to the forum and back to bicycling! Carrollton must be up on the north east side of GA? How's the road riding up that way? I did NC's CNC ride a few years back and that area was really nice!

North west Georgia--near the Alabama border (30 miles from Rome, GA) The roads are very country and not bad traffic wise. Im 30 minutes from the silver comet-Rockmart entrance. NC is less than 2 hours drive. My folks are from Franklin--so I frequent that area. Thanks for the welcome!
