Long story short, my battery on the head unit of my PT died today before my ride. In my haste, I replaced the battery but didn't change the date on the head unit. So now my ride data shows that the ride was Jan, 1st 2005....Anyone know how to change the comp so that it reads the proper date for this ride? or change the ride within PowerAgent or Golden Cheetah?
Is there a permanent fix for setting the date on the Comp? I didn't see it in the manual.

There is definitely a setting in the PT head unit somewhere for the date. It should be in the manual. Its one of the menu screens (1 or 2 maybe?).
I had to do this in Golden Cheetah:
* export the ride to a CSV file
* import the ride from the CSV file you just saved, you can set the date and time to whatever you like.
* delete original ride.

In PowerAgent, just go to tools - configure device and change the date. Your ride date will automatically change within PowerAgent.
