Since that link will be dead in a week, here's the picture of the bike:

And the accompanying text is somewhat memorable, too:

Scuse me while I kiss the sky - 68cm Fixie - $200 (Beverly Hills)

I have converted one of Schwinn's tallest (a 1987 68cm sky blue World) to a fixed gear. The rear wheel has been undished adding symmetry, strength and a good chain line between 40 tooth front ring and 16 tooth rear cog (attached using method popularized by track legend Giovanni Petella: http://204.73.203.34/fisso/eng/schpignone.htm ). The large ring from crankset has been cut off leaving just the smaller 40 tooth ring. I cut dropdown handlebars to produce a bull horn style. Of all the lugged frame seams I've looked at the white/silver lug seams on this one are the best -- it does not suffer a sloppy handpainted look like many others and I'm left wondering how it was achieved (note the closeup in the second photo below).

Warning - not using a track hub with a left handed lock ring is considered dangerous by the bicycling industry and I recommend never depending on using leg/pedal resistance to stop (all of my conversions have a front hand brake). If you fear you might unspin a cog torqued using rotafix method I will change rear wheel to a new flip flop wheel for an additional $75.

Please call 248 390-3026 if you are interested in purchasing this bicycle or want help converting one of your own.

wow, that's actually a very cool conversion in my opinion. Although that could just be the behemoth size.

It would be nice if there was a "Post your huge bike pics"-thread, but for me, half the fun is seeing people riding them.

His bullhorn idea was a mistake. Unforgivable.

Seriously.

You would figure a guy that big couldn't even fit his hands on those flopNchops
