Classic and Vintage Bicycles: What's it Worth? Appraisals and Inquiries - Help identifying Schwinn and Louison Bobet

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
New guy here. Looking for some help identifying what Model of Schwinn this is. Serial # H252086 located on left rear dropout (which I believe makes it a 1951). Two-speed rear hub w/ coaster brake. Appears fairly original. Grips say Schwinn Approved, but may have been replaced at some point.
Also, I have this Louison Bobet, which I believe is from the very late 60's or early 70's, and I believe it's a mid-level French bike. I understand were imported/sold via Cyclopedia in Michigan.
Any help anyone could provide on an estimated value range for either of these would be a great help. Thanks.
Your Schwinn looks like a World Traveler. It needs brakes and a shifter for the hub. Great condition.

what? are you talking about the bike on the left with the "touring" bars? I am no expert but from what I learned here isn't a two speed hub a 'kickback'? and why do you need brakes if it has a coaster brake?

I'm guessing the Schwinn is a late fifties/early sixties Racer, probably with the two-speed coaster brake option.

You're right, Bianchigirll. That's a Bendix "red band" 2-speed hub and is shifted by back pedalling briefly. It also has a coaster brake so caliper brakes are not strictly needed.
Thanks for all of the info. Funny they marketed these as "lightweight". Indeed it does have the Bendix "red stripe" two-speed "kickback" rear hub w/ internal brake that shifts by rocking back slightly on the pedals. (The first time I rode it I couldn't figure out why sometimes it felt like it was in a steep gear, others a low gear...I had no idea it was a two-speed!) Any idea what these are worth? I need to make some room and sadly these need to go.
Thanks again for all of the great info.
