Does the frame look like it would be good on a fixed gear bike?

I am thinking about purchasing this frame but I have never built a bike before.

I want to build a single/fixie (w/ flip flop) for my commute to work (2 miles) and for playing around town.

Thanks in advance!

Jake

I dunno. By the time you buy wheels, tires, cog, lockring, seatpost, seat, clips, straps etc, you could buy something comparable new. Those Peugeot Carbolites are nothing special.

Well, the hard work is already done with the crankset...and maybe the chain line is good if they were on point. Gotta flip them bars, though, if you hop on it.

I got almost the exact same deal on an Univega frame with cranks, bars, stem, headset etcetc for about $50. Pretty good deal i suppose just for a beater, I guess it just depends on how bad you want it. The crankset isn't bad, looks pretty good. I guess if its just a commuter get a beater wheelset and seat and you're ready to go.
