I was so happy to see Barb Lindquist finish fourth! She was awesome! I see her every year when she does Mrs. T's here (being held this weekend), and it was great to see her perform so well. I honestly thought she was going to medal, but what's with that Belgium chick that ran up behind everyone and took the gold??!! Man, she was S-T-R-O-N-G!!! :eek:
Barb still rocks! :) I just can't believe I stayed up until 2am to see the whole thing! :eek:

Barb Lindquist took ninth. (http://www.nbcolympics.com/results/5050884/detail.html) I thought the same thing due to the coverage on nbc. Still she did very well until she faded toward the end.

It was Kate Allen from Austria who won the Gold medal, she kicked everybody's butt on the run. She flew pass Loretta H.

Dang.... I must have been really really REALLY sleepy- I could have sworn I saw her come in fourth, and as soon as she ran across the finish and was hugging Williams, I turned off the set and went to bed. My bad.
I guess that's the bad part about not seeing it LIVE, huh?

the womens triathlon was definatly worth staying up for, i think nbc has done a great job with the coverage this year, much better than four years ago
Does anyone know if Barb Lindquist will be rushing back to the USA to try and win Mrs. T's triathlon in Chicago? It's going to be going on tomorrow, and I could totally see her going for it.
