Folding Bikes - Rubber Rim tape

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
My bike arrived with a white plastic/rubber closed loop rim tapes that have the following marking "Herrmans STD 12x406 20" vh 7x9 1105-0006"
Anybody know where I can find it or a similar tape?
(I am aware of the Velox cloth linear tape. This is for single wall wheels, otherwise I would use Veloplugs).
Thanks,
Kam

You can make your own by cutting two strips from an old tube and then measuring the "tape" on the inside of the rim and cutting the strips about 1" short. Then polish the ends with sandpaper or ?? and apply rubber cement like you would to a tube when patching. Let become tacky then (making SURE the strip is not twisted) stick them together and hold in the fingers for a few moments and set aside to dry. There - two custom made "tapes" better (thicker) than any I have found on the market. Cost?? Almost zero.
I had to do this in outback Australia and they still work fine 4 years later..
