Classic and Vintage Bicycles: What's it Worth? Appraisals and Inquiries - Lygie Bike worth?

Hello everyone, Im pretty new to vintage road bikes but I happened to come across a pretty clean and super smooth Lygie. Ive searched and searched for info about these bikes but I cant find really anything about it. Just wondering the worth as its just a tad too big for me, I its a 60cm, there is a serial on the side and it reads 74L-1616 or 74I -1616, (the third symbol is hard to read, this is stamped under the seat post. I really do love it though, as it's super clean. Im trying to decide if I wanna swap over some parts to my Azuki and sell the frame or if I wanna keep the frame for a project later on. can't tell if you're lucky enough to have a 531 frame, but doesn't look like it: yours seems to be a bike boom mild steel frame but with fancy chrome lugs! Probably built by Atala...I wouldn't think worth more than $100, even in SoCal.

Sweet those are sites I have yet to come across. Thanks for the info. Anybody got any info on the Azuki, I know it was made by Nishiki but nothing really more. Just wanna know considering these are about 2 of my only real posessions. But I do give them the attention they deserve considering I sold my car recently. Thanks again.

So those sites really hasn't helped me find any type of worth for this lygie. Im looking for sites that can specifically tell me the type of model and what im working with via the serial. Anyways forgot to metntion I got this bad boy with the bike also, Imported through I. Martin in LA.

The frame looks almost identical to my 1974 Atala "Grand Prix." IOW, seamless high-tensile "Tulio" tubing.

If that's the case, I'd revise my estimation upward a bit.:)
Don't know about Tulio tubing: was that another name for Falck (or a model of Falck tubing)?

Thanks guys! It does kinda resemble the Atala, with the lugs and overall styling. Im trying to find out what tullio tubing is, maybe thats why it is such a smooth machine. I wish it was equipped with the original rear derailleur It has a shimano 300 ex thats kinda nice, with suntour front and suntour downtube shifters. Thanks everyone for the info, I think my final conclusion is to let it go as I need the cash and Its kinda too big.

I own a Lygie bought in California in 1971. It has a Reynolds 531 frame (at least for the three main tubes). My 531 decal is very worn. I am a little concerned about rust from numerous small nicks in the enamel. Does anyone have suggestions as to how to remedy this problem. FYI, the Lygie name was recently purchased by another Italian company that will use the label to make vintage style bikes.
