Looks like it would swing around a lot. Let's see the rest of that bike so we can make fun of how poorly it fits.

a) not my bike.
b) dont worry, every other component on my bike has some sort of bottle opener. and tool, too.
c) i wanted a saddle bag that could hold my nalgene bottles, so thats what a local cycling-paraphernalia made.
d) *****es aint **** but hoes and tricks.
I concur.
Somebody needs to google the definition of concur before they look like an idiot at school, or in an office meeting.

Those saddle rails are toast as soon as someone sits on it.
I have a bag hanging on my saddle rails with a spare tube, some patches, CO2 cartridges and a CO2 inflater. Juuust enough room.

1. be of the same opinion; agree: the authors concurred with the majority | they concurred in the creation of the disciplinary procedures | "That's right," the chairman concurred.
Cliffs: You don't know what you're talking about.
Some goofy Halloween skull necklace it blinks red and I can change the battery's...

there is a reason for the cork.
Anything else hanging off your saddle is just childish and super cheesy. Unless it's a tool pouch or whatever.

That is very interesting. I have always wondered this.

yeah, metaphorical superstition.
there's a reason for the monkey or windshield air freshener, too. it's the same reason, different metaphor.

well, I was thinking more like respect for cycling tradition, as opposed to just hanging whatever corney little toy you can find at Hot Topic or Spencers Gifts in an effort to be "different" or "cute" or "evil" or whatever
Though I am guilty of hanging crap off my bike myself: (see rear brake bridge)

I'm just saying at least know where the idea originates from, it's not some new fad the "fixie" kids came up with

I am confused with the appeal of tradition. Why is it that otherwise intelligent independent thinking people feel the need to validate what they are doing with this idea of tradition? How is conforming to tradition in any way a validation? What really is tradition? Does a tradition need to be in continuous use to really count as a tradition? If one picks out a little known tradition from some bygone era is one really any superior to someone who courts distinction through novelty?

I suppose I am more inclined to appreciate things that can stand the test of time rather than the test of trend.
I do like some trends, and see the fun in them, but I don't fool myself and know in due time it will pass into "Furby" territory

Avante Garde is to be respected and appreciated only when the artist (in this case bicycle "outfitter") is aware of the boundries thay are pushing. Otherwise, it is lacking in culture, originality and is meaningless.
Please read this as a matter of MY oppinion.

Of course. Not to pick on anyone. I just have strong opinions on the matter of individuality.
I don't hang anything off my saddle rails... If i find a nice saddle bag that I like, I'd probably get one of those.
On tradition: Even though a lot of trendy things are "One hit wonders", some of today's trends will be tomorrow's traditions. I wonder what's going to be considered classy 50-100 years from now.
