I know very little about the various Bianchi models. I've asked the seller for more pics of the drivetrain, fork, serial number and lug work. I doubt it is anything too special, but for $120 and in my size it could make a nice rider. Is it worth checking out? Plus any ideas as to which model by the looks of it? Thanks for the help guys.

From the derailers and crank description it sounds like a Japanese or Taiwanese Bianchi. No matter, at $120, if it's ready to ride its a good deal. Hopefully Bianchigirl will come along and ID the exact model and year. But I would communicate with the owner now. Around here, that wouldn't last 24 hours.

+1. A fully functioning 80's Bianchi with original components at $120 is a great deal. I'd say jump on it.

Hi sorry I do occasionally leave the computer and actually work or ride, *giggle* too bad CL has such lousy pics. I think, betwen the pics and not being at home, this is a 84ish maybe like the Brava level model. maybe suntour cyclone (pre index) but for 120 I agree it does not look to bad. if it doesn't work out a bit of lemon pledge some elbow grease and resell it for 130.
I emailed and asked for pics too we shall see.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking the deal is hard to pass up. I haven't seen other pics yet. With the size that leaves out a good portion of the market and it being in Norman a college town (aka fixie hipster headquarters of OK) the gears alone will turn off the college kids. But I agree it won't last long, so hopefully he gets back to me this evening.
