I'm about to purchase an old Raleigh Technium Tri-lite that is a Scott Tinley model. I myself do not do triathlons (can't run fast enough), but I know that Tinley was a good triathlete. The bike fits but I wish I could find more out about the bike. I haven't found anything of value on the net. Do any of you triathletes know anything about this bike? frame quality, durability, price when new. I'd appreciate your help.

I have the possibility of buying one of these. I can't find anything either. Did you ever find anything. I am looking at the 100.00 range for this bike, do you think it is worth it?

I did buy this bike, and so far I love it, but I am a newbie. I paid 80.00 but started in the 120 to 100 range. A guy needed space in his garage. Everyone I have shown this bike to thinks I got a great deal

These are the components on mine:

12. Suntour Cyclone 7000 hubs – front and back

I would recommend asking this same question on Slowtwitch.com. Those guys are very knowledgeable and post a pic if possible.
