I am going to try disk brakes for the first time, and it seems the Avid Mechanical Disk brakes seem to be right for me. I dont want to deal with the hydraulics fluid and all that so i like how this sounds. But i see there are different rotor sizes and i understand the larger the rotor the larger the stopping power. What i dont understand is this: like say you bought a set of avids and it came with the 160mm rotor, and you wanted to upgrade to a 205mm or whatever the highest one is. Does that mean you have to buy a whole new model of Avid Mechanical disk brakes just for that larger size, or can you just buy a new rotor and just the rotor? Please clarify this so i can go ahead and buy.
