There was a lot of speculation doping EPO was one of the reasons contributing to his death.

yeah, jiménez definitely raced in that era so it is hard to say it didn't possibly contribute. maybe not that day
but possibly in the past & may have exacerbated the "demons." pantani (r.i.p.) too-same era & some similarities.
