Mountain Biking - Biff!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I was doing some jumping on the dirt jump I built awhile back..I totally biffed after a few jumps!!! Everytime I'm in the air I turn the handlebars to the left, and then when I land pfffffftttt. I made it over a few times without biffing, but then I took a splat. I had mud all over me, it was so cool! I've gotta work on my in air form, and build a few more jumps. My X-vert was awesome! It soaked up the landings, I didn't have throbbing wrists or anything, I hardly felt the front come down except that I swerved because I had the handlebars turned.
I love my Manitou....I love dirt jumping.
Fubar,
I have and idea. If you are pulling the bars to the left, just take your left hand off the bars!!:D There you go, problem solved and and it looks cool. :D
Oh yea btw dont take any riding advice from me, I crash often also.

Fubar i was playing around in the parking lot of my Lbs when i picked up my new bike. (took it in for fine-tuning, never built a bike before so i needed someone to check it out.) I was telling the guy the fork felt so soft (100mm front z5 and 90mm rear) i could probably just plow right over the parking blocks (the things that keep you from going to far forward when you park.) so i got up a little speed and POW!!!! Right over it hardly any feed back. I did that about 10 times then went downtown for some urban riding. The biggest drop i did was about 3 feet and it was plush. suspension is cool.
Toninator.........Urban riding...:D
