When I got my new bike I removed all the stickers on it, including the ones for that said alexrims. But now I notice a lot of bikes with these types of stickers still on them. Was it lame for me to remove them? If so why should I have kept them, if they were important I would imagine they wouldn't have been stickers in the first place right?

they're just ads and a way to cover the seam on the rim, i generally take them off as well.

I took mine off, I found them to be an annoyance when riding.

I remove stickers and decals which are easily removable without affecting finish from virtually everything I own, including airbag safety stickers inside my vehicle. I like the simple uncluttered look.

Ummm...I sometimes remove them...I sometimes don't...either way doesn't bug me in the least.

I don't mess with them either. If they fall off, so be it. That is, unless I need to save that .5 grams. :p

I like to look at the flashy graphics while I ride. Its kinda....hypnotic...hey is that a truck?

What did you use to remove the rim sticker?

I normally don't care one way or the other, but I replaced the rear rim of my 520 and the Mavic rim has a really goofy sticker. It doesn't bother me too much because it's behind me, and I don't want to scratch the rim and get poor braking as a result. So what to do?

OTOH, regarding stickers on the bike, be careful because some are under the clear coat. In that case, removing them may affect the finish of the bike. I have kept the "520" and "Trek" decals on my bike for that reason. But I removed a few other stickers were either on top of the clear coat and hid one or two that were bothering me.

Stickers are easily removed by heating them first with a hair dryer.

When I see a bike with no stickers at all, I usually wonder where they stole it from.

It's yours, do whatever you think looks best.
