Tandem Cycling - WTB: Dura Ace 7803 parts for tandem build

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hi there. If anyone happens to have DA 7803 shifters, brakes, and f&r derailleurs, in gently used and great working condition, please shoot me a PM.
Thanks!

You might want to try eBay. When I was building our tandem I collected parts from various sources including Bonktown, eBay, closeouts at the LBS as well as some stuff on sale or price-matched from various sources. only a small handful of items were bought at the then current street prices. The only items we bought at retail prices were the two Specialized saddles which are nearly impossible to find on-line new. It took longer, but then so did the delivery of our frame, we saved a considerable amount of coin in the process.
oh believe me, i've been scouring ebay for a few weeks!
nothing on gently used 7803 drivetrain yet, unless i want new old stock at very high prices...
there's options though, so i'm not worried. build won't be done for about 2 months (hopefully less) and will figure something out before then...

Builder says 2 months plan on 3. That way you won't be disappointed when its a bit late. Mine was promised in 6 months and took 13 to deliver.
You can also try PBK, Wiggle and ChainReation as UK prices are a bit better than US and most offer free delivery when you reach a certain level of purchase. IME PBK was 5 business days from UK to Charlotte NC every order I have ever placed with them. When I was looking for DA 7800 for my road bike I just bought a Mercier from BikesDirect for $1400. stripped it of all parts and dumped the frame. Ended up with a full DA group as well as wheels, tires, and all the other bits that make up a complete bike to reuse on other projects.
