Foo - What in the world happened today?

Well I'm not sure what happened today except I fell alseep at a friend's house for a while I guess and I slammed my hand in a door and now it hurts pretty bad. I really wish I could remember the parts in between. How about yourself?

I payed someone to clean my house and now it's so beautiful I don't want to let the dog inside or use the toilet.

so far, I woke up (partially), fed the cats, and found an awesome parking spot for the car. And watched the weather channel for about 40 seconds. time for caffeine now.....

the bosses are taking the company out to lunch to celebrate one colleague's departure to have her baby next week. I'll probably have a boring salad with chicken. too bad cuz this place has AWESOME Italian food. some days I really dislike watching what I eat!

Woke up at 6:15, let dogs out, made coffee, sat on bed in 5 year olds room and watched him feed/water/care for hermity the hermit crab, defecated, showered, shaved, dressed, drank coffee, read devotional with our boys while wife made lunches, got travel mug of aforementioned coffee, drove to work, got a bagel with cream cheese and am now at desk getting ready to start the work day after eating said bagel and calling my dad to see how a Dr. appt/procedure went. As of yet, I have not fallen asleep at a friends or mysteriously damaged any appendages, be they mine or not.

I woke up at 6 AM (very strange for me) Kissed my wife goodbye, took a shower, grabbed up the dirty clothes and put a load in the washer, changed the puppy pads, washed my hands and made a veggie burger wrap and gobbled it up, then I sat and watched TV while doing the laundry, right now I'm all done with the laundry and am listening to Alanis on 104.5 singing "I'm not quite as well, I thought, you, should know..."

Good to hear that you're mostly ok, aside from the soreness.

Had my dentist tell me that the sensitivity I've been feeling in my upper teeth recently is due to nothing more than my ongoing sinus problems and that my teeth are in excellent shape.

Of course, the only purpose my teeth really serve these days is to hold the fillings in place - when the weather's right I can pick up NPR - but even so, that counts as a good day.

I know you didn't ask but I'll give you my 2 little pennies worth anyways. I've been going through the same thing here in Philly, and its not fun, :( I feel like its not safe for me and my family to go anywhere at night, hell! I feel its not safe for us to go anywhere in the daylight! but we still do, and although I carry a gun everywhere we go in the state of Pennsylvania I know its only for my own peace of mind as nothing you can carry will keep anything bad from happening to you or the ones you love, you gotta go out and live life as its served to you, and sometimes thats cold with a side order of ****! :mad: but if you look back and count the ****ty times you'll see its really not that often. :) I'll bet the good time really do out number the bad times. Deal with it as it comes little Fuzzy wuzzy, you'll be OK :)

I don't know if you ever read a quote I used to use or not, but here it is,"I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love." Nothing can be any more true, I actually can count my real friends on one hand, and it turns out its so much better that way as I'd rather have 2 or 3 real friends that would tell me the truth about things than have a million friends that are full of ****. (thus making them "not friends.") :) you have to pick wisely. It took me half a life time to find them! :lol: :) BTW, I'm way paranoid, but it ends up its a good thing as it has kept me and my family from getting into bull**** many times.

I can count my real friends on my hands. The person I suspect isn't a friend, just someone that went to the same HS.
