Hello,

I'm slowing making the switch from mtn. to road. I have been riding my retro early eighties Benotto Modello 800 for the past two years. I love its retro look and it seems to fit my 6'-2", 190lbs pound frame quite well. Its a 10spd, w/ 700x20c wheels and the frame is 58cm. Can anyone tell me about this bike or the company?

Cheers,

Greg

I also had a Benotto 800 from the eighties, it looked identical to this one.

i bought a benotto bike made in the 80s. although it seemed like a common production model it was outfitted with some good stuff, like nitto bars and stem, gipiemme crankset and seatpost. the tubing was weird oval (not columbus oval cx tubing however). when i get a pic ill post.
