What kind of loser rides an '04? I mean, really. I wouldn't be caught dead on one. By riding the most "in" bike, arielgo makes it clear to the world that he is the coolest, best rider out there.

Hey a great deal is a great deal. Congrats
Arielgo - Don't mind that guy - he's just jealous that he can't pull off what you want to do. Anyway, as both a spine design Lemond and OCLV Trek owner, I'm interested in hearing the details.
What's the story? You really going to do it? What do you think you can get for the Zurich? What kind of deal for the Madone?
Money aside, owning both would be awesome.

I think I will. The decision comes today. I am getting the Madone SL for $2225. I am probably going to put the Zurich on ebay and try to get $1700. I just can't afford both. Believe me I would love to own both!

Dude, that's more than a good deal. That's a serious employee discount. Especially considering I paid that for my 5200.
Damn! I bought an 04 Zurich a few months ago and would have loved to buy yours for less $.

Man that is really rong! It's not about the bike
which lbs in ft.myers are you getting the deal from? sounds like a sweet deal but seriously if the bike you have works well for you then keep it and forget about purchasing a new one every time a good deal comes up.
please don't underline things that aren't links - it gets me confused.

I am actually getting it from an LBS in Miami. Friend of my father works in one.

Well, My Madone arrived at the bike shop yesterday. I will be picking it up tomorrow!!! Sorry the LBS asked that I not disclose the name of the shop due to the pricing he gave my father as a friend.
Other than than a dozen or so (Including me, apparently), it seems reasonable to expect that most folks wouldn't care that you're switching from one off-the-rack bike to another off-the-rack bike. My question is, "What was the compelling reason for announcing it?".
Tough crowd. Let the guy share his joy.
What frame size on the Lemond?

The same reason people start a thread on the new bike they got or ordered or waiting on. He's no different except for two new bikes. LOL

that's a way below cost deal on that madone sl. especially since i understand trek and shimano are both jacking up the prices on '05 stuff. that's well beyond a good deal. the shop's taking that one in the nethers.
