Track Cycling: Velodrome Racing and Training Area - Superdrome Webcam is LIVE tonight!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

We're experimenting with webcams at the Superdrome and broadcasting LIVE (http://www.stickam.com/willshootphotos) tonight! Please drop in and check out our live streaming video!

The camera is a standard webcam and we're not pleased with the picture, so if you know of another great solution please let me know. A broader picture and better focal length would be awesome.

Thanks in advance and enjoy the LIVE track racing (http://www.stickam.com/willshootphotos)!

I'll try to have the cam live tomorrow night as well for our first race in the Match Sprint series! Racing starts at 6pm CST if I can get the camera live... had some trouble early this evening but I'll do my best. If you have any suggestions please feel free to post. Thank you!

Most of your questions should be answered on the website WWW.SUPERDROME.COM (http://www.SUPERDROME.COM) Classes are held monthly and are required before you can ride. You need a track bike (fixed gear, no brakes, nutted wheel hub axles) or can rent one for $5. The website calendar shows when the track is open for riding and when events are held. There are races almost every Friday night and many Saturdays, and entry for spectators is FREE. No alcoholic beverages are permitted.
