After not having rode much the last few years, and not even hanging around Foo like I used too, I think I have the fever again. Too much work, life, blah blah blah getting in the way.
Did some short after work rides in San Diego with some new friends that kind of got the fire lit again.
My oldest friend finally agreed to do the Seattle to Portland this year so I've got 3 months to get my lazy butt in shape. My neck and shoulders are already protesting but once the blood gets flowing again, I'm sure I'll fall right back in love with the pedals.
So, OLA FOO! Can't wait to catch up!:)

Was wondering where you were. Thought you didn't love us anymore. :(

That would never happen. Just other things being higher on the priority list for a while.

Having a goal like STP will be a great way to get back on the bike, particularly if a friend is going to do it with you.

Jumping straight into a double century? Dang. Good luck, and welcome back!

Well, the only bonus is that it's a pretty flat route. Usually the weather is the biggest PITA. Last time I did it, rained all day Saturday then riding into a 15mph headwind on day two!
