Help before I break something. I need to remove the chainset on my FSA triple chainset. Seems simple enough, but the left hand crank doesn't come with a pinch bolt as it has a single chainring attached to it. http://www.fullspeedahead.com/fly.aspx?taxid=99&layout=product
I can remove the retaining bolt and washer, but don't know how to remove the arm itself. Tried a few gentle blows with a mallet, but I'm guessing I'm missing something. Any ideas?

The left stoker crank is attached with a self-extracting bolt (http://www.parktool.com/repair/readhowto.asp?id=171). If the retaining ring is in place then the crank bolt pulls the crank off the spindle.
